Connection
I
taste you in the air
feel you in the sun's warmth
penetrating all I am
I hear you in the wind
as it softly blows
gently touching me
and deeper still
I feel a connection
I would move mountains for
howl and crawl
just to be near
I feel you where
there is no more physical
just spirit, heart and soul
that longs and cries out
for touch and closeness
and the Universe goes on endlessly
I never knew such immense space
as this space that separates us
Am I crazy or just a dreamer?
you might think so
but if you could see
to deep within
you'd know a connection
like you've never known before
