In the quiet
Where sky meets earth
and sun filters through
branches and leaves
light reflecting
each gentle moment
that touches and calms
with no spoken word
where heart is what matters
in the grand scheme of things
and all is as should be
in the hush and the quiet
no need for struggling
as you sit in the calm
while light reaches in
warm and so soothing.
