Old woman
you're eyes say it all
at times so lost
not knowing where you are
searching my face
for an answer
and then a smile
light fills your eyes
so full - you touch my heart

We sit and talk
in a language you can't find
the words to anymore
I find them for you
and you take my hand
tell me you love me
I smile

We sit enjoying
such simple things
the trees, the sky
and you light up
as the birds fly by

92 years of living
and now
living in two worlds
peaceful, peaceful
with eyes of a child.
